The attendance Terminals installed in all the University's offices are equipped with RFID technology that allows the reading of personal badges with only the approach of the same towards the terminal. They are normally installed near the main entrances of buildings. These devices are equipped with a touchscreen that allows interaction with the user and at their base they have two sensitive areas (RFID) near the Entry and Exit option.
The correct operations are accompanied by a sound alert and a green visual warning to indicate the positive outcome of the operation.
On the contrary, the wrong operations generate both a sound alert and a visual warning of a red background.
Any anomalies of access or of failed operations must be reported to the Digital Resources Office gestione.accessi@unitn.it
Procedures
The new terminals allow, through the touchscreen, the activation of additional options that the same user can do independently. The operations that can be activated are controlled (through the Clock icon) or by entering any additional codes relating to the stamping performed (through the Keyboard icon). Both procedures are described in the User Guide document attached.
NOTE: the guide shows an example of exit stamping with code 10 (leave for work). The same operating mode applies to the exit code "Short Break" (code to be entered = 68), active from 27 June 2016.
