Memorandum of understanding for the promotion and verification of the digital transformation of the Public Administration

On 10 December 2018 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the President of the Court of Auditors, Angelo Buscema, and the Special Commissioner for the implementation of the Digital Agenda, Luca Attias.

The agreement aims to promote forms of collaboration between the Court of Auditors, within its institutional functions, and the Digital Transformation Team, pertaining to the implementation of the Italian Digital Agenda.

We consider it appropriate to draw attention specially to Article 3, which provides for the establishment of a Joint Commission for the implementation of the initiatives referred to in the Protocol and Article 5 which defines the areas of action. Specifically, point 3 of article 5 reports that particular attention will be drawn to some aspects of the lines of action required by the Three-Year Plan for Information Technology in the PA, which we invite you to read.

At the moment the actions that derive from the agreement are unknown, but considering the short validity of the agreement itself (15 September 2019, even if extensible) and the role of the Court of Auditors and the Digital Team leads to continue in the activation of the digital transition strategy.

Happy new year and good luck with your  (digital) work!
