Library Systems

The synergy between the Informative Systems, the Research Management and the University Library System has resulted in an extended range of online services for our Libraries, with a view to computerise all those operations that once were tipically carried out on paper or face-to-face with the Library staff: requesting to consult a text, accessing electronic databases, placing a request for national & international interlibrary loan, submitting the thesis and configuring the permissions to view it, requesting a bibliographic consultation, and much more.

Primo is the graphic interface for the search of the paper and electronic resources of all the libraries of the Autonomous Province of Trento including UniTrento

Function The service provides users not only with reference consultations, but also with instructions on the use of IT resources and information concerning the Library’s research tools; it also provides assistance for reference consultations, catalogues and a consultation on how to add bibliographical references and draft a bibliography.

eBooks Catalogue
The service allows the user to search for ebooks on the basis of different criteria within the collection of eBooks owned by the Library and to access the content according to the methods of use of the online resources.

The service allows the user to access the databases, periodicals and digital content available in the University Library System, based on specific agreements with publishers

Media Library online
MediaLibraryOnline is a platform that allows you to consult and borrow for free digital newspapers and magazines, e-books, audio books, videos, music and other resources. Some of them, such as audio and ebooks, can also be downloaded to your PC or mobile device (tablet, e-book reader and smartphone)

National and international interlibrary loan (Inter Library Loan / Document Delivery)
Allows you to submit the request to receive a document (monograph or article) not available in the Trentino CBT library system, but available in other national or international libraries
