Computational resources

Advanced computational resources and other services support the activities of the research teams.

It allows to perform calculations on a HPC platform.


The University provides the staff people with an HPC cluster consisting of a CPU and GPU based architecture based on the PBS queue management system.

The cluster computing capacity is 453,05 TFLOPs (theoretical peak performance) with 6.664 core and 48.128 Cuda core

Service Request

The request must be submitted by staff structured in University of Trento (professors, researchers) filling in the form

Access could also be required for unstructured personal with an UNITN account (students, PTA, post.doc, etc.)
